Why bother with a post grad course - waste of time? 17-10-2016

Hey everyone I am a 20 year old adult nursing student who started in March. Applied for my bursary and was told I was going to get £295 a month but after I sent off my evidence this was reduced to £165. This was based off my mums income whom I live with. My bursary next year is to be reduced even further. However I have supported myself independently since September 2013. Can I get independent status if I'm living with a parent still? Sorry for the long message but this is the breaker between me finishing the course and having to quit so very important here!

To be classed as independent, you must have supported yourself for 36 months prior to starting the course.
