FP1 question

2016-05-16.png
In part (a), if i do:
f(2)=-1
f(2.5)=109/32
therefore, sign change implies that the root a lies in the interval [2,2.5]
Will I get 2 marks from the question?

Not too bad, i am just worrying that some odd questions will come up. Otherwise, i have done quite a lot of past papers for fp1 and learnt from my mistakes.
good, as long as you have done lots of prep then you should be fine
