So i'm going to Texas in two weeks time to work at a summer camp, and I needed to upload a health form. For this, I needed to send this health form to my GP and she would fill it out and inspect me for a health check. She found out that I only had one MMR jab, to which she was confused with. She requested for me to get another jab, which I did, and she completed the form and off I went home.
I phoned my dad just about this, mainly because I was angry at the health costs. It cost me £100, but he was more angry at the fact of why I had a second jab. It turns out when I was 1 I had a severe reaction (asthma attack) to the MMR, and my local GP advised not to have a second one. But its too late now as its all done. I'm more angry that my new GP failed to see this in my medical records, considering thats what she was meant to do.
So I have a few questions which I hope someone would be able to help me out with.
1) My asthma has gone down drastically, and I have very infrequent asthma attacks (its more once or twice a year). Will this MMR likely trigger a severe attack like when I was 1?
2) Should it cost me £100 for a GP to fill out a health form and inspect my current health. This was basic checks like height, weight, eyesight and other very general questions.
