For the 10 marker I wrote about ethnocentric curriculum and labelling/streaming. Oh god discussing answers is making me feel much worse.
yucky 2 marker - i liked the 6 marker  up to a point
i put -

introduction of coursework in gcse's which replaced o Levels - benefited girls

New reading schemes - the old scheme stereotyped girls & boys into gender roles

Feminisation of education - girls have more successful role models due to women entering `tradiotional` mens jobs - crisis of masculinity.

I wish I'd mentioned GIST though :frown:

To be fair bizzy_penguin your answers seem right 😂 Lets hope there's a range of answers.
I did the same feel like I mucked up the 10 marker
Anyone got/can get a mark scheme?

My best bet is that Power and relations or Functions of family as 20 marker, not sure about the rest.

The 10 marker was asking 'How do functions of the education system affect pupils educational achievement'(similar to that, not sure)Im not 100% sure, that my answer is correct but we were taught there there are 3 functions of education:-Socialisation-Skills Provision-Role AllocationI went over the paper with my teachers, they said you should get marks if you wrote the above, but there maybe more than one answer to this question.Good luck anyways!

Do you think they would allow IMPACT OF FEMINISM, EQUAL OPP POLICY-GIST&WISE AND ROLE MODELS
i know a few people who spoke about education policies but i don't think thats what the question was looking for

For the 10 marker I wrote about the ethnocentric curriculum and stream/labelling. I wasn't sure whether I should write about functionalists view because it had the word function in it :////

hello again,

I think they would allow GIST & WISE :smile:since I've seen quite a few users on this forum saying they put that so i think it would count, I hope role models will count as well because I also linked that in my answer somewhere too  I don't know about the first 2 you stated though, though I hope our AQA exam marker are lenient on that question though because it was quite vague...

We had the worst exam ever. Our teacher messed up and told us families and households was first and was told at 5AM the morning of the exam. I had 4 HOURS to cram revise everything. I hope it went OK.

omg .___. that's so annoying! But you're now prepared for families and household, didn't it say it on your exam timetable
