Sorry - it's for psychopathology; schizophrenia, depression and anxiety.

Yeh i think theyre quite difficult as well. Easy to get your A01 just describing the explanations, but then comparing and contrasting them for A02???
I would know hardly anything for the AO2!
I hope a question like that doesn't come up.. its a killer!

I've never seen or even heard of a compare and contrast question before :s:

I do therapies so I can't help you, but I know that compare and contrast questions are on the syllabus, for those of you who haven't heard of them.

Yeah I was reading about them today in 'the dog book'. You have to list the similarities and differences. For example, a similarity could be that both the biological and psychological explanations for OCD are inconclusive (note - just an example!)

I really really hope one of these questions doesn't appear!
I was struggling until i looked at the exam answers on the AQA website:

Basically if you describe the theories + evaluate them for AO1

For AO2 you can make 4-5 points about their similarities and differences and extend on them by evaluating and that should be fine i.e. Points in terms of:

Reductionism
Scientificness/Falsifiability
Free will vs Determinism
Nature vs Nurture
Whether they are complete theories
How they are similar/different in their focus on the individual.
