    Another grade boundaries thread!
Sorry, I know there are quite a few of these already but its really important I get peoples thoughts on the matter for a few subjects:

Biology Double Award Co-Ord Higher Tier (3462)
    Chemistry " " " "
    Physics " " " "

Any help would be greatly appreciated. Basically past grade boundries and predictions for this year etc. Also, how does coursework affect grade boundaries (does coursework likely make the boundaries higher or lower?).

Oh and before I forget, Maths Intermediate (linear) too!

    Thank you!
    WornOutTeen.

Why don't you look on their website for the examiners report for last year. Scroll to the bottom of the PDF document and it will tell you!

    Gee that was helpful.

Some of us have done that and still didn't understand it. You all seem to know what you're going on about and a tiny explanation would have been nice. I'm a mom and didn't understand the PDF document any more than my son!

Sorry, what don't you understand? Heres an example
If i wanted the AQA Dobule Award results for 2006 i would go to the aqa website then search for my GCSE and go to examiners reports. It would look something like this,
    http://www.aqa.org.uk/qual/pdf/AQA-3...-WRE-JUN06.PDF

PDF document. At the bottom of the page, you find your paper reference (it will be on you exam timetable), and look for the RAW results, and this will show what you need for coursework and each paper!

Thanks Guys much appreciated. Sorry to have appeared rude earlier, but all this talk of grade bounaries and modules is way over my head!!! We just had plain old o levels when I was a kid, You had to get 75 %for a C 85 for a B and 95 for an A and that was it!

OK, thanks for the help. I really can't believe it though. I reckon that including the two courseworks, I would have got just over 50 % in Double Science. I thought that would be just enough to get a C, but turns out that it's definitely going to be a D. This is absolutely terrible.

I think OCR double science, 50% will most definitely be a C, not a D. The paper for Physics was overall found very difficult, which will lower the boundries.
