Yes you would

Student funding for any course is:

length of the course + 1 gift year - any years of previous study.

So if you studied on an FD for a year that would only use up your gift year.

Be aware though that a foundation DEGREE, a foundation YEAR and a foundation DIPLOMA in art & design are all very different qualifications. A Foundation Degree is a 2 year FT HE course, usually in a vocational subject that is equivalent to the first 2 years of a degree or an HND. If you complete the first year of an FD then sometimes you'll be eligible for an early exit award to show for your work (generally a CertHE which is equivalent to an HNC).
