A little advice please?

I have an offer from UoB and i was debating living in halls or staying at home ( i live around 30 mins away). I'm studying LLB Law and i'm unsure whether commuting is the best choice if i have lessons each day? what do you think? Also i'm worried about not making friends either.
Live in halls, massive part of the experience. It will benefit you socially and academically. I'm from Birmingham originally and have spent the last 4 year in university halls, easily the best years of my life.

I travel from home to university, you won't really miss out on much to be honest. Join societies, go to events you really won't be missing out on much. I thought I'd miss out on the university experience but...i didn't really miss out on much xD
Living at home is a LOT cheaper. And your parents cook for you...chilling!

I've got an offer for MSc Marketing and want to move to Birmingham (currently in Northampton). I'm looking at private halls, but can't see anything cheaper than £142 for a studio? Please say it ain't so?!
