What did you write for the question on natural selection about the zebras?

These are the keywords i think you need in your answer, it was 5 marks wasnt it

-Can live long enough to REPRODUCE
- GENES/ALLELES passed down
- Striped coat INHERITED
- To OFFSPRING
- As the offspring are more adapted for survival, the CHARACTERISTIC will be passed down
- For GENERATIONS
- INCREASING number of zebras with stripped coat.

Feel free to add

Absolutely true, i just finished in time
What did you write for the fill in the blanks , for the last blank, something about the gas released when refrigerators are broken down ( wth was that ) xD
They were CFC's :'D, i had just read about them one day before the exam.
I DIDNT HAVE TIME FOR THE 6 MARKER :'(
What did you write for the question about the effects of the baby born without a septum?

I think you had to mention smth about the striped zebras having an advantage over those that weren't which would lead to the eventual extinction of zebras that didnt have the gene for striped coats.

I think you should've mentioned an idea that oxygenated and deoxygenated blood mix together and that there would be less flow of oxygenated blood going to the rest of the organs; causing the heart to be less efficent ( 3 marks)

And damm , ahaha, i forgot about that,

And its alright, i bs my whole way through the experiment one, it was quite hard to form an experiment for that tbh, i used secchi disks to measure the amount of pollution xD as i said, all bs , i hope i get the marks though

For that experiment my teacher taught us a CORMS method to use as a guide line
C- variable your controlling/changing
O-organism your investigating
R- repeat 3 times take avg
M- the measurement you take to find the end result
S- factors you keep the same

I put in that oxygenated and deoxygenated blood mixes and thus the baby doesnt get enough O2 supply.

Oh, how much did you guys write for the pollen question? It took me like 6 lines to explain everything.
what did u guys write about that q

"How can u identify this is the right side of the heart?"

and what did u write in the experimental q
I think I screwed up :frown:
I wrote bc the ventricle wall on that side is thinner than the other

An idea about how the left side of the heart is always bigger as it provides oxygenated blood that is sent to the whole body (through the aorta) and the right side is smaller due to it going only to the lungs

The question was something along the lines of "Lions tear up their food into smaller pieces. For this reason amylase is not secreted in their mouth. Suggest why.
It was the third or fourth question. On the next page after the zebra question.
