GCSE English 9-1 Specification

Why bother with a post grad? Are they even worth it? Have your say! 26-10-2016

I am currently in Year 10 and my year group is gong to be the first one to do the new 9-1 GCSE English and Maths exams (my exam board's AQA).

I've doing a lot of revision for both subjects but I am a bit confused about the English exam and have a few questions:

Which areas does the exam cover? What's each section about?
Are there any similarities with the current GCSE?
How many parts does the exam have?
Is there going to be a speaking assessment?
Is the mark scheme similar to the current one?
How do you revise for it? For the Literature, I've analysed the characters and the key moments but I am sure about how to prepare further.
Can you recommend me any useful Youtube channels and websites?
