Hi everyone I'm new to the forum, and I have a question about the Intensive Korean Masters Degree I am planning on attending the Masters open day in June and hope to take Japanese Studies and Intensive Korean.

My question is for anyone who has completed this Masters or is currently studying it. I was wondering if you could talk to me about how intense the course really is (I.e weekly work load, class descriptions), and also, if you have completed the course, how close to fluency you became, as I have read in SOAS' site that Intensive Korean aims to get you as close to fluency as possible.

Oh, and another thing too! I'd like to know how long the summer in Korea lasts. I'm assuming 3 months but if anyone could tell me that would be great.

    Thanks everyone
