Is this picture disgusting or beautiful?

This is an interesting article I thought some people might be interested in.
This photograph of a father holding his son in the shower has been shared tens of thousands of times on Facebook in the last fortnight. But over the same period it's also also been taken down by the social media platform more than once before ultimately being reinstated each time. Why?

Really, I can't see anything wrong with the picture. Just a father holding his son? Please read the article, it explains why the father is holding his son (In short, he was ill, and he was using the water to keep his tempature down, and wash away any sick.)

Neither.
Men are branded by society as sexual predators and because of that an innocent picture like this is seen as something abhorrent.

I don't see anything wrong with it either, but it's probably been reported by people who can't stand the slightest bit of nudity.

Well my first reaction was "awh" sooooooooo........
i don't think it's beautiful because um... holding a sick child isn't beautiful but it's like "awhh poor kid and good dad taking care of them"

my dad used to bathe us as kids sometimes when my mum was away or ill or whatever... tho he DID have underwear on
maybe it's that part that people didn't like? the whole nudity thing?
I don't see a problem with it. Like someone before said, men are labelled in our society as a problem, and any form of 'love' or 'affection' shown in this way, or indeed many other ways, is seen as wrong and bad on the male's behalf.

Likewise, if the father was more muscular, or perhaps less hairy, people may also view this more positively; and yet, people support mothers doing this sort of thing, but condemn such an instance where a man does it.

Double standards, particularly in terms of gender, really agitate me.

Way too hairy, I find it a bit off-putting tbh.
Beautiful, I think.

People had nothing but praise for the woman who did it - what's the difference? Paternal love and instincts are just as real and powerful.

Well, it isn't supposed to be sexual and attractive, pal.

There'd be nothing wrong with it IF the father had some underwear on.
Neither. In my honest opinion, you shouldn't be posting pictures of your kids naked or semi-naked online. One, they haven't consented and it could very well be embarrassing for them in the future and two, people can take and do what they will with those images. Especially sick people. It's not hard for any one of us to copy and paste the image, save it for later and manipulate or keep the image.

I was less worried about the content. Parents have to do what they have to do when their kids are sick. I used to vomit all over my mum when I was a kid, there would be no point in her getting dressed to sit in the shower with me when cooling me down with water when I'm ill. Nevertheless, that should be private whether it's between a mum and child or dad and child shouldn't matter.

Why? Like, seriously. You all create your own stereotype then cry about feminism. Hilarious.

? What even... You can't even see anything? It's not exactly 'child porn', **** my life.
A father holding his child is nor beautiful or disgusting. It's normal. It's other people who have a disgusting straight to the gutter mind.

How?
I don't get why he's naked. Why would you share a naked picture of yourself and a child? I think it was posted just to make a fuss to be honest. It doesn't matter if it's intended to be sexual or not. Feel free to take the picture, but posting it online for everyone to see is too far in my opinion.
