What do I do? So conflicted.

I really like this girl.I also care for her and respect her but the thing is I'm still trying to mentally get over my ex. What do I do?

Let her get on with her life.

Don't get into a relationship where you're not putting your heart and soul into it.

Sort your head out first and who knows? Maybe she'll still be single by then.

If you are struggling w/ getting over your ex give yourself some more time. You will get over her - eventually. When you are ready then pursue a new relationship. If it's been a while since you and your ex parted then maybe the new girl is just thing to fully move one from the memory of your ex; but it the break up is recent give yourself time to work through your feelings. Only you know if your heart might be ready to move on. If you know it's not let the new girl go. No one can really give you advice you're gonna have to follow your heart on this one. Question: is the memory and emotion of breaking up stronger than your interest in the new girl? If you like/respect this new girl maybe it is time to leave the old memories behind. Sorry, I'm rambling.
