Hey guys - I'm doing my English Lit exam tomorrow. It will have unseen poetry and 'Of Mice and Men' in it. I am confident with how to do the essay style question for Mice and Men, but I am a bit worried about the extract question in case it is a 'Mood and Atmosphere' question!? I get really confused with Mood and Atmosphere - would anyone be able to give me a bit of guidance for how you actually answer a question like this? Like, what do you look for etc...
Thank you - and good luck everyone!

    Do you do wjec

I was really confused with mood and atmosphere at first too - but when I understood how to answer it I found it really simple! I did OMAM last year and a mood and atmosphere came up then.
Basically, after making a point you'd have to explain how that affected the mood and atmosphere - was it calm/ full of tension/ dramatic etc.
