Best place to study filmmaking???

I've been looking around and so far, the Directing Fiction course at the NFTS seems to be the best option for price, facilities, and status in the industry.
Am I correct? What are the best alternatives that aren't crazy expensive like London schools?

I want a course that allows me to do practical filmmaking and learn all the techniques ext. It is also important that there is a high chance of getting a job in the industry after the course.

UCA? They have quite a few different 'film production'-esc courses. I haven't seen it but Norwich University of the Arts has a good rep.

I'm going to Portsmouth to do film production- it's 80% practical and is generally a great uni :smile:
