Who's resitting this module? What did you get last year and what do you want this year?
im resitting, got a D overall in AS chem last year, pretty confident i can get a strong A in unit 1... i hope anyway
Is this for Edexcel? I got a B overall and a B in unit 1. Hopefully I can get a high A this time.

Hi.. i got a C last year for chem unit 1 but say if something happens tomorrow and i do worse does the C still count - does highest mark go forward.
I'm resitting. I got a B overall last year, and a C in Unit 1 (somehow I got higher in Unit 2... A.K.A 6 UMS away from an A in that unit).

Hoping for an A/A* this year. Well, I need an A in A2.

@zoedhin Highest mark does go forward.
im resitting only got a c on unit 1 super disappointed with that.

I think its because the possibilities are:
16+16 = 32
16+17 = 33
16+18 = 34
17+17 = 34
17+18 = 35
18+18 = 36
so theres only 5 peaks because 2 give 34
I hope that makes sense!

Do the electrons fill each shell indiviually then fill up in pairs?

Each orbital individually first, yes.

- Peak at 79 and 81
- of the same height
- Peak at 158, 160 and 162
- 1 : 2 : 1 height for the molecular ion peaks
