What's Halifax like?

Been offered a place in accommodation at Halifax and was just wondering what the general consensus of the college is?

I will be studying Film and Television Production at the Heslington East campus. Is it quite the walk to campus?

Bit of a bummer that you have an accommodation offer of Halifax for a course of Hes East (sorta the worst combo), but its not all that bad. Walking takes 20-25 mins and there are buses that go from Halifax to Hes East, although I think they take about 10-15 mins because they go to campus first.
As for the college, its quite quiet, not a whole lot happens there really

Its a nice collage. Its huge and quite separate so it really has its own feel and community. Its much more rural than the other collages as its near fields and country side. There is no collage bar, but The Charles pub is near by in Heslington and is very popular with students, especially those from Halifax. Perhaps due to its quiet rural setting Its quite a stonery collage; always stinks of weed.
