Word limit for EPQ?

I'm doing an Extended Project Qualification at sixth form, and am writing the 5,000 report for it.

What I'm wondering is, is 5k words the maximum you can write? And if not, is there a limit?

I'm currently writing it and I'm not even close to having written a 5th of it yet, and am well over 1,500 words, so I'm worried that I'll have to majorly cut back.

5000 words is more of a guide really, ideally you should aim for around 4500 to 5000 words, but it's okay if you go a little over (but definitely not more than 6000!) :smile:
