I wonder if people who automatically come up with P.E have actually ever seen the syllabus, or a textbook, or anything for that matter?
The theory side, which is actually pretty difficult, is a combination of P.E and Biology, and there are also some psychologocial aspects to it.
I don't think it's pointless, although careers from it are limited, because it means you stay healthy and learn about what the point of P.E. even is. Besides, it's interesting and has kept me sane over the past couple of years within my "academic" subjects which are boring as anything.
The practical side is easy if you're an all-round good sportsperson, but if you just specialise in one sport, like a lot of my class do, then it can be difficult learning a new sport to a high standard.
The coursework is also really time-consuming for the few number of marks it's worth.
I challenge people who think it's easy to pick up/find a paper to do after the exams are over in the summer.
And to the person who said Latin, I think it might actually be one of the most useful subjects I took this year, besides thinking at the start it would be pointless. It helps massively with words and vocab in languages (a lot of French and English are based in it) and as a result I'm finding French a whole lot easier. Italian would come a lot easier, as well, (if I learnt it!).
