1. I'm stuck on question 9a part ii of this paper

I've looked at the mark scheme and I was able to draw the graphs correctly intersecting at 3 points like here

However I don't understand how they have specifically gotten the values where the graphs intersect, pi/2, 5pi/6
2. Well if youve drawn out your graphs , isn't it obvious where the lines intersect?

Whilst sketching your graph, an essential feature of both would be sketching the fact that they both cross the x-axis at . Hence, that's one solution. This should have been an essential feature of your graph.

The graph should also showcase symmetry (about ) and you should be able to see that so by symmetry the other solutions is .
