If you were given the question: "In what ways is Slim a significant character in the novel?", how would you answer it? By this I mean what would your three main points be etc. It appears to be likely that this might come up tomorrow so i'm hoping to prepare as much as possible.

Excellent and respected worker
Slim is there at critical moments
He treats people fairly
Throw in some evidence and expand and hopefully A*
I was thinking the character might be George as he hasn't come up
Also what do you think will be Inspector calls character?
