    I'd talk about Lennie, Curley's wife and the different animals that appear throughout the novel. Both Lennie and CW are innocent in that they don't understand their oppression. However Lennie is more innocent like a child whereas CW is ignorant to the sexist world around her.

    The different animals are innocent in that they are not guilty of doing anything wrong. They are simply a part of the goodness in nature. However this makes them vulnerable and weak - leading up to both the mouse and the dog being killed by Lennie. (You could then link this to CW's death and compare them)
