The question on of mice and men said to write about 1 or 2 characters, however as I didn't read the question properly I wrote about more than 2 characters, will this mean I lose a lot of marks?

You can't really lose marks but that might mean you didn't develop and explain enough for each character. If you felt you did though don't worry about it.

Thanks for your help, do you think they will only take 2 characters from my answer or look at all of them?

I'm not sure but they should read all of it. If you answered two questions from section A it would have been different.
