I'm doing this paper (^). I'm on question 7 ii. I have found dy/dx, yet i cant seem to find the angle theta correctly. I believe i have taken one correct step by calculating the gradient at C, which is 99/50 or 1.99.

On the mark scheme, i cant figure out why tan(90 - theta) is used. Im under the impression that AC is 10.1(calculated in part 1), and 99/50 or 1.98 is the hypotenuse. However, using this info and the corresponding SOHCAHTOA does not give the correct answer??

Any help on what im doing wrong???
