As i am getting older, i am starting to realize what type of person i should be. So because of this i have really tried changing my accent into a more standard British accent. Most of my friend have typical south east London accents which has made it hard for me to continue training because i often slip out of the accent i am trying to get. Do you have any tips for me to change my accent? Should i try surrounding myself with different people?

Surround yourself with the people you WANT to hang out with. Don't let something as small as an accent difference corrupt your friendship.

Having a different accent won't change the type of person you'll become. It will only alter people's first perceptions of you. Are you sure you want to change your accent?

There are other, more useful ways of becoming a better person
