1. After reviewing where I often lose mistakes on papers, I lose marks often simply on not knowing what the formula for a shape's volume is (e.g cuboid) and it means I usually lose a few marks. Does anyone know if there are volumes of shapes that students taking this exam are expected to know?
2. I would say cuboid, rectangle, sphere and maybe cone. Hope this Helps
3. How can you not know the volume of a cuboid or other regular shapes?

I only started putting effort into maths when A-levels started, so whatever knowledge I have outside of the specification is just random stuff I happen to remember. Sometimes I can work out what the volume is by common sense, but I was doing the G1 Gold paper for C2 and I couldn't do the cuboid bit on Q9
