1. E (J) = m (kg) × c (J/kg) × θ (degrees c)

efficiency (J) = useful energy out / total energy in (× 100%)

efficiency (J)= useful power outtotal power in (× 100%)

E (J) = P(W) × t (s)

v (m/s) = f(Hz) × λ(m)

Payback time = cost of installation / saving per year (£)

kwH = kw x hour

cost (£) = kwh x price per unit (P)
