Why bother with a post grad course - waste of time? 17-10-2016

1. I'm stuck with how to do question two because you can't work out the area of ODC and AOB as they are not sectors (they have each have a curved side)

oh god o.o

find area of sector of OBC
find area of triangle of OBC

Sector-Triangle= little midgy curved bit on the edge of the circle

you have 2 little midgy curved bit on the edge of the circle

so area of sector-2(little midgy curved bit on the edge of the circle)

then simplify and get the required answer

yes you do get weird number, it's good to work in radians for this question
3. Think of it as ODC and OAB as the sectors
