1. Probably zero
(Original post by richpanda)
oops. Out of 4 marks how many do you think I could get for getting the correct answer for the wrong subject?
2. (Original post by eftio.gea)
Guys wasn't part a of Q9 = 1/3pi(x^2)????

because the sector area is 1/2r^2(theta)
which is 1/2(x^2)(2/3pi)

= 2/6pi(x^2)
= 1/3pi(x^2)
??
YUSSSS i was going to mention that... he didnt multiply by 1/2 i guess
3. You sure about the values for the trapezium rule one? I got 41.5, if I remember correctly
4. (Original post by eftio.gea)

yeah thats what i got

i'm pretty sure you had to divide by 2, i got the same answer as theirs
6. 1.201? I got 1.6 something and so did the majority of my mates
7. (Original post by FakeDumbledore)
Unlucky mate I've seen the official mark scheme and a few of these are wrong :/
Better luck next year in your resit...
I got 100UMS
8. (Original post by richpanda)
i got -2.19.

anyone get 9b+5 for a in terms of b?
it wanted b in terms of a
9. (Original post by AstarAstarA)
I got 100UMS
Oh really, didn't realize you can get your results now
10. If you put an answer that isn't in the range eg -14.5 do you lose a mark?
11. (Original post by samgoulden99)
Probably zero
might only get 90 ums then. Actually just checked with my teacher and he said 2 marks for showing manipulation of logs so could get 95.

Wish I could go back and see the question, I can remember being 100% sure that I had gotten the correct answer.

You're absolutely right. I put that. It was my foggy memory trying to recall the answers
16. (Original post by richpanda)
nope, he's right. x value was 10, y was 13. Those numbers don't compute in what you gave.

I agree with every single one of the OP's answers.
Difference between U9 & U10 is incorrect.
He probably used ar^n
17. What was the trapezium question? I don't remember a trapezium question

EDIT: Oh - trapezium rule! RIP my memory
18. If anyone has the paper I could do solutions (anything to not revise, and feeling a bit hyped after first uni exam)

It was the difference between ar^9 and ar^10 wasn't it?
a = 64
r = 3/4

Can someone confirm?
