Why bother with a post grad course - waste of time? 17-10-2016

Hey guys, I am applying for a Msc in Computer Science and was wondering what to put in my personal statement. How have you all found the application procedures, etc? Also what advice would you give for someone who has never done Computer Science before (this course is specifically tailored to that group of people). Thanks!

Taken from the UCL Msc CS page, I found answering these questions particularly helpful on mine:
    • why you want to study Computer Science at graduate level
    • why you want to study Computer Science at (Insert university)
    • what particularly attracts you to this programme
    • how your academic and professional background meets the demands of this programme
    • what mathematics experience you have to meet the requirements of the programme
    • what programming experience you have
    • where you would like to go professionally with your degree

    Good luck!
