    I'm stuck on this question could anyone explain it please?

    well you're trying to draw a coordinate indicating which atom donated their lone pair of electrons to the other, the first thing you find out is the total number of bonds that the nitrogen atom as a whole can form in this case its 4. N atom is in group 5 (5 electron) and then it has 2 bonded N atoms (2 electron) and a minus sign which is 1 electron in total their is 8 electrons hence 4 pair of electrons. In this case nitrogen has 3 bonds formed with another nitrogen atom therefore has 1 lone pair of electrons available which will be donated to the N atom on the right so the arrow showing the movement of the electron transfer will go right
