make sure you know the main eequations from each module aswell.

i havent really got much for the capacitor discharge and radioactive decay either. just need to know that they're both exponential decay and the equations for thm.

Bah. I just read through a past paper and it was like "Outline how the kinetic theory of gases describes an ideal gas"

I completely forgot that stuff.


A perfect example of an idiotic question. Edexcel manage to come up with a certain amount of questions which just leave you wondering what the examiners are on. They are usually 'Comment on' or 'Outline' or 'Explain' and the mark scheme answers are a lot of waffle.

For instance take this one (above), you could state pV=nRT or van der Walls with a and b=0 or state all the assumptions of the model but the one and only answer they accept is 'lots of tiny particles in rapid motion'. What a lot of junk.

So it seems the strategy to answer those is 1)Switch off your brain
2)Write down the dumbest thing you can think of that you would be ashamed of writing even drunk
3)Check your answer is a complete nonsense or a tautology
...then you'll probably guaranteed full marks.
