1. Hi for the upcoming edexcel gcse maths exams what unit conversions do you need to know?; e.g. 5 miles = 8 km or do they give you this in the question? thanks in advance

I don't know the exact ones and sometimes they give units, sometimes not. These are commonl used conversions in general life. I've put in bold the ones I can remember getting told, I'd say to learn those. Hopefully this helps. Good luck in the exam!
5 miles = 8km
1 m = 39.37 inches
1 foot = 30.5 cm
1 inch = 2.54 cm
1 kg = 2.2 lb
1 gallon = 4.5 litres
1 litre = 1 3/4 pints
