# Write a line aprallel to y = 3x + 2

1. Yeah pretty much.
2. parallel means they have the same gradient, the Y-intecpt can be anything therefore, a parallel line to y=3x+2 is y=3x+1, or y=3x+100
3. Any line parallel to that will have the same gradient, e.g. y = 3x + 9
4. y = 3x + (any number)

Parallel lines have the same gradient but a different intercept
5. Yeah all parallel lines would have the 3x gradient.
6. Parallel means the line has the same gradient. The line you have has a gradient of 3. So parallel line couple be (y=3x+1) or (y=3x+3) etc
7. Any : y = mx + c (as long as 3 is the gradient e.g. 3x + 4 3x -1
