1. For question 17b, i understand that the answer is 2.2 but how do you actually find it, i wrote 1.5 carelessly because i thought you go to 5 on the y axis, go across and then down which led me to 1.5. Does anyone know an actual method to find it?

if that was the root5 question, you had to say that x was root5, so 2x^2 would be 10, and then you draw the line y=10 and see where it crossed the curve

No problem, good luck with the exam on Thursday - remember it's calculator so you can do loads of trial and error until you get an answer that seems reasonable
