It didn't ask for the midpoint. (1, 2.5) was the midpoint.

Ahhhh crap
Original post by gcseexamz
Coordinates were (1, 2.5), (5, 7)

How can the midpoint be totally negative if the two points were positive(on the upper part of the graph??
Surely the midpoint would be somewhere near the coordinates right?
I put the midpoint was ( 3, 4.75)[/QU

they gave the midpoint we had to work out Q or something i swear ?

3b)teacher asks students to do a questionnaire, why might the sample be bad?

A: biased, due to same age range??- not 100%

Yes that sounds correct. You could've said because of the sample being in the same school, it could have had influence on the decision making etc...
For the 36% answer question, what were the 3 marks for?

7*10^8

The question was (5 X 10^6) / (3.5 X 10^-3)
So I did:
5 X 3.5 = 17.5
6 - -3 = 9 = 10^9
17.5 X 10^9 = 1.75 X 10^10

No?

difficult to say considering the fact that only 1 paper has been sat. however, if paper 2 is similar then 160-165 for A*

Aghh crap

dont stress u still have another paper
what was question 5 again
Original post by angelax
The question was (5 X 10^6) / (3.5 X 10^-3)
So I did:
5 X 3.5 = 17.5
6 - -3 = 9 = 10^9
17.5 X 10^9 = 1.75 X 10^10

No?

Incorrect

its 3.5x10^-3 / 5x10^6
For the -0.4 and 4.4 question wouldn't it be the opposite, 0.4 and -4.4?

Q1 750cm^3
Q2 too vague and no timeframe
The class is a small sample/biased
Q3 p^7
g^2
k^6
10-5m
n(n-7)
45
90
No not enough varnish cos she needs 50cm^2 but has 37.5cm^2
60
T=5x+20y
(-3,-2)
11 females
100-25pi
36%
I compared median, IQR and range
150
7x10^8
X<7
7/5
2 4/5 in mixed fraction form
4/5
x=-0.4 and 4.4
X=-1.1 and 5.1
X=-1.7 and 4.7
Angle MST 69
Probability is 0.04
X=2&6
a+b
-a+3b
3/4(a+b) for vector
Point s is on both lines and it is point where they intersect
100,25,4
Final questions is (3-root6)/12

I factorised the letter one (t=5x+20y) will i still get the mark if thats right??
Original post by ewales
That was a tricky one, everyone at school seems to have different answers:
Mine being (2 - root 6)/12.

I got that too but I didn't think it was right. I could be wrong though...

For the 36% answer question, what were the 3 marks for?

I literally just wrote 30x1.2=36%
