1. (Original post by gcseexamz)
it was an estimate of how many days he had oil for
was around 898 / 18.7
so 900/20 so anyting around 45-47ish
Yep
2. (Original post by GeekyThomas)
What did people put for the oil one? I put 53 days.. but I have heard a variety of answers from friends so ;-;

I got that but i did it 2 different ways and got two answers because it depends on what you round to
3. (Original post by snapchatter)
I didnt do that well.

sorrry man well at least youll always have snapchat #nicename
4. what were the complex shapes
5. (Original post by 34908seikj)
40-50 I'd say
Is this for both papers or just one
6. i got 6 root 3 over 12 for the last one
7. Question 9 was about T Envelopes with a formula for small (x) and large (y).

I think the answer was T = 5x + 20y however it may have needed to be in simplest form in which case it could have been T = 5(x+4y)
A* - 84
a - 73
b - 61
c - 48
d - 40
e - 32
u - >32

If students didnt do so well on this paper, will they lower the grade boundaries slightly? I don't even think I scraped a C :'(
im sorry to say they will probably be higher than average
but depends on paper2
10. (Original post by Rebqqq)
Is this for both papers or just one
For the first one
11. Is is it if for the second vectors question i factorised my answer? it was 3/4a-3/4b or something and i wrote 1/3(3a-3b)
12. Shucks. Many people put around 50ish apparently so there may be some leeway on that. I can only hope that there is

No, It didn't specify it had to be in it's simplest form, however would make sense that such a simple question is worth 3 marks if you had to do that.
15. For the circle and square question, I wrote

10 X 10 = 100CM"2
Area of circle = PIE R"2
and then did 100/25
How many marks do i get?

1 I'd say since you got the square correct, but didn't get the circle correct. it wasn't 25, it was 25pi

then 100-25pi == 4(25-pi)
17. Also, answer for 12 B. Was it a triangle constructed?

Probably just 1 for the 100cm"2
19. How many marks will i have dropped for these answers;
75TT (did have 100-25TT written down) but didnt think to leave it like that.
0.4 for the probability one.
Table of values- 1, 0.25, 0.4.
Read the scalar wrong for the vector and did 1/3 (a +b).
For the x and Y question with the quadratic. I did y= 6 +x (instead of -x) and drew a straight line and found 2 points of interception going through the curved parabola.

1/3(3a-3b) is just a-b.
