1. I got the area of the two triangles for the surds question, but couldn't subtract them, how many marks do you think I would get for this?
2. (Original post by Mathsgcseexam)
What if you only compared the range and median for the box plot question? Can you still get three marks?
No, you NEED the IQR as well
3. The circle theorems reasoning:
(Angle given at the start = 48 degrees)
1. Tangent meets radius at 90 degrees, so the bottom left angle = 90 - 48 which = 42
2. From the bottom left angle, you could use alternate segment theorem to work out the top right angle, which is therefore also 42 degrees.
3. As it is an isosceles triangle, the other 2 angles in that same triangle must be the same and add up to (180-42) 138. So each angle is 69 degrees
4. Using the top left angle acquired from the previous step, you can use alternate segment theorem again to find the angle they were looking for, which is 69 degrees

5. I wrote 100 - 25Π in my workings but my final answer was 75Π, will i still get the marks?
Also what was the inequalities solving question???

Thanks to everyone who helped contribute any answers to the questions - it's really helpful for everyone
what were the complex shapes
It was the varnish for the floor question
8. For question 11, I put 50% for rent increase. Do I get any marks for any sort of working out?
9. (Original post by gcseexamz)
Well no it was 100,25,4
alright don't get sassy babes xox
10. Was it necessary to simplify to 25(4-TT) or would I still get full marks for 100-25TT?
How many marks will i have dropped for these answers;
75TT (did have 100-25TT written down) but didnt think to leave it like that.
0.4 for the probability one.
Table of values- 1, 0.25, 0.4.
Read the scalar wrong for the vector and did 1/3 (a +b).
For the x and Y question with the quadratic. I did y= 6 +x (instead of -x) and drew a straight line and found 2 points of interception going through the curved parabola.
8-15 i think? still A* dw.
12. Was the standard form question 2 marks? If so would I get a mark if I got the answer but didn't write it in standard form?

You didn't work anything out...
14. 9) T=5x+20y
15. Also, if I recall correctly...36%, 11, 90, (100, 25, 4) and 69 all are supposedly correct
16. Also this one as well did i do that correctly. hope i did.

I wrote down

Last month : £800
This month : £800
Rent last month : 30%
Rent this month : 30% + 20% = 50%
I know its wrong but how many marks?
18. what is the absolute highest that the grade boundaries can go for an A* out of 200?
19. (Original post by junayd1998)
Also this one as well did i do that correctly. hope i did.
Yea, that's right
20. for question 17 i got it right but did it with two decimal points (as close as i could estimate it, especially with the x + y =6 as when both lines crossed it was like right in the middle of a square), for example i got x = -1.81 or something. will i still get the marks?
