is 85/100 an a*?

it's hard to judge by just one paper but if you got a similar mark in the calc you'd be looking at an a* based on last years grade boundaries it was 155 for an a* so lets hope they don't make it higher!)

This is the completed mark scheme for the 26/05/2016 mathematics non-calculator paper.

If there are any mistakes, please tell me.

Reps would be appreciated, but are not necessary.

Hi I think you've made a big mistake some kids are doing maths GCSE tommorow I think you need to take this down

How certain are you? The exam was sat worldwide at the same time. The moderators would have taken it down if this was not the case anyhow.

Well they will if ur giving the questions to all
Do you guys think that the grade boundaries are going to be low?
when would you be doing the edexcel paper 2 calculator question?
The T= x and y I put an 'n' outside the brackets would I get the mark?

Q4 and Q9 i think can be simplified even further and i believe maybe Q23 is wrong

What do you think 23 is?
Two questions; One, you know for question 2b, I put a point on 3 and looking at your mark scheme, it's on 4. Is mine wrong because I checked over it.Secondly, how many overall marks am I looking for for a C - this is my aim.

Yes, if you factored it out you'll get all the marks.
