2. (Original post by hanifah125)
i calculated 73/100. what grade do you think that would be
3. (Original post by casperyc)
I did the GCSE paper too.

4. the last question was very easy, all you got to do is to minus the big triangle by the small triangle but you gotta put it in surd form though
5. For question 12 I incorrectly simplified the answer to 75 pi instead of 100 - 25 pi. How many marks would this lose me? I did write the correct answer above my answer, but just simplified it wrong

6. Just saw that when I finished reading the whole (first) post, right at the end
7. I got 76 is this an A???
8. Could you write for the circle and square question

100-25pie= 25(4-pie)
I wrote 100-25pie in my workings any ways but still..

Q1 750cm^3
Q2 too vague and no timeframe
The class is a small sample/biased
Q3 p^7
g^2
k^6
10-5m
n(n-7)
45
90
No not enough varnish cos she needs 50cm^2 but has 37.5cm^2
60
T=5x+20y
(-3,-2)
11 females
100-25pi
36%
I compared median, IQR and range
150
7x10^8
X<7
7/5
2 4/5 in mixed fraction form
4/5
x=-0.4 and 4.4
X=-1.1 and 5.1
X=-1.7 and 4.7
Angle MST 69
Probability is 0.04
X=2&6
a+b
-a+3b
3/4(a+b) for vector
Point s is on both lines and it is point where they intersect
100,25,4
Final questions is (3-root6)/12
Do you know where I can find foundation mark scheme?
10. (Original post by blueribbons99)
was it not 100-25 TT all divided by 4?

Posted from TSR Mobile
no, because after you subtract the area of the circle from the square, you are left with those 4 segments (the shaded area). so 100-25 TT gave the combined area of those 4 segments
11. (Original post by Starface)
But you've got to multiply that by 0.7 from evaluating 3.5/5. Since 0.7x10^9 isnt standard form you get 7x10^8
ah, I see

well, thank you for the explanation

tfw you can't math :^(

It asked for it in it's simplest form which is 25(4-pi). However on the unofficial teacher mark scheme s/he left it as 100-25pi.

You found 20% of the wrong thing :0
I wonder that too!!!
14. (Original post by A.m.cr)
The question said the rent was raised by 20% from 30% so you had to find 20% of 30% which is 6%. You thenn add the 6 back onto the original 30 to get 36%
That's the same as 120% of 30 lol...
15. When will the calculator paper be put up
16. Is there one for foundation?
17. (Original post by YAY GCSE)
For the X^2=4(X-3)^2 i got 3 but i dont think thats right...

No, x = 2 or 6. Explained in detail below.The right hand side of the equation expands to:

x^2 = 4x^2 - 24x + 36.

Then subtract x^2 from both:

0 = 3x^2 - 24x + 36

Divide both sides by 3:

0 = x^2 - 8x + 36

The right hand side factorises:

0 = (x-6)(x-2)

Therefore, x = 6 or 2

To prove this, sub them back in:

6^2 = 4(6-3)^2
36 = 4(9) which it does, and

2^2 = 4(2-3)^2
4 = 4(-1)^24 = 4(1) which it does
18. Are you going to post the higher calculator paper
19. Ugghhhhh, don't do this to meee!!!! i got half the paper wrong!!!
