How to upload right to work check documents

Hi everyone
So some companies ask you to upload your documents before bringing them to the interview if you're offered one. So how do you actually upload them. Can you just take a picture of them or do you need to scan it etc. Whenever I look online it just says what documents are acceptable rather than how you actually upload them.
Thanks.

If they had specific requirements they would tell you these. They're not expecting you to be psychic, unless that is actually the job you're applying for.

Just do it however is easiest. Bear in mind that they need to read the documents - so if you take a photo, you need to make sure the document is in focus and takes up most of the shot. A distance photo of your kitchen with your passport on the worktop won't be acceptable.

Each company will have it's own software solution if this is what they want. You have to wait for specific instructions. It isn't very common, usually you just take the documents to interview and they photocopy them there and then.
