i need to design an experiment where a toy car rolls down a ramp and hits a wall but each time the toy car will have various materials in front to see which one will reduce the force the most upon impact.

i cannot remember the machine used to measure the force or velocity (cant remember which one) at which the toy car hits the wall.

i need serious help designing this experiment because its part of my coursework, the context in which this experiment will be applied is the best material that can be used to reduce the momentum when bumper cars hit each other. please can someone help me, thanks x
