Hey all,

Did anyone else find the exam today really hard? I'm predicted A* but I feel like it went so badly, questions were horrible.

(I do Seamus Heaney and Lord of the flies)

I did the same, started with Lord of the Flies which was a boring extract but I think I had some pretty good points
Heaney I guessed Wheels within Wheels would come up since it's arguably the hardest poem and this is the last year of the spec, so naturally I avoided it
Did Servant Boy in the end because I'd done an essay on endurance in it and got A*, this one was a bit worse and I rambled on about the warm eggs symbolising hope which was entirely unrelated but I had a bit of time lol

Lol fair enough. I did wheels within wheels, I hate servant boy, I think that ones the hardest xD
Yes, the unseen poem was absolutely absurd in my honest opinion. Lacked character and very stringent to analyse such a poem within the scaled time.
