Official GCSE Results Day 2016 Thread (TODAY!)

I'm in Year 10 so I am in my first GCSE year and I have 6 exams this year. This is what I expect in this year's results day:

What you think you've got:
I have only got 1 more exam left, but apart from that one I think I have done okay/good so far
Predicted grades:
All A* in the Exams I am taking in Year 10 (I'm doing these 6 early)

OCR Science 1 - A*
WJEC Geography - A*
WJEC Welsh - A*
WJEC R.E - A*
WJEC I.C.T - A*

What you've actually got:

OCR Science - A*!
- Module 1 a*
- Module 2 a*
- Coursework a*

WJEC Geography (Spec A) - A*!

WJEC Welsh - A*!
- Unit 1 Exam a*
- Unit 2 Controlled Assessment a*

WJEC Religious Studies (Religion and life experiences) - A*!

- Unit 1 Exam a

I GOT WHAT I NEEDED!! ALL A*s!!! BRING ON NEXT YEAR

How are you feeling about results day?
Nervous but excited but mostly nervous, I DON'T KNOW WHAT TO FEEL

What I think I got:

English language (Cambridge iGCSE): A*
English literature (Cambridge iGCSE): A*
Drama (Edexcel GCSE): A/A*
Spanish (Edexcel iGCSE): A*
Latin (OCR GCSE): A/A*
Greek (OCR GCSE): A
Maths (Edexcel iGCSE): A*
Biology (Edexcel iGCSE): A*

Not finished yet but predicted grades:

Religious Studies (OCR GCSE): A*
Chemistry (Edexcel iGCSE): A*
Physics (Edexcel iGCSE): A*

Haven't got any results yet but hoping for at least 8A*s!

And yes I think I may film a youtube video about it! :smile:

Finished as well! It didn't feel as good as I thought it would...now I've got results day to worry about instead of the exams!

Same! I'm going to be a wreck on that morning :bawling:

Thankfully, I'm going on a month long school trip to a far away country with no wifi access until August 23rd, so hopefully that'll take my mind off things!

How are you feeling about results day?
I'm looking forward to it. I have a good idea of what I'll get but I there are some subjects (English, Health and Social Care, Engineering, General Studies) that I'm not sure about and I just want to know how I did!

How are you going to open your results?
I'll probably find my friends and just open them wherever they are opening theirs. I think last year the Year 11s had a letter saying if they had been accepted into the sixth form so I'll probably read that first and then look at my results. I'm not sure if either of my parents will be there but I'll probably either text or show them fairly soon after opening them.

What A levels are you doing?
Maths, Further Maths, Spanish and Computing (but I might swap one of the last two for Physics, or do all of those plus Physics if the option block change to allow the combination). I'm really excited to start!

Are you going to record your GCSE results on YouTube?
I'm considering it but I hate being on camera so probably not...
