So I am looking to book eid off soon, however my manager has said that I am unable to take it off? He said that too many people are off around that time and I would not be able to get the two days off.

Of course I am only booking two days as we know it could be either day depending on the moon sighting, I am giving him 2 months notice for 2 days off is this unreasonable on his side?

I am the only muslim on our department, the manager has recently gone on 3 weeks holiday, another person has gone on 2 weeks holiday and another on a week. I have been there around 5 months now, and I have always been flexible covering their shifts and taking overtime.

    What should I do?

My joke might be seen as offensive so I have edited this post.
