Question Paper Help (MEI C4 2005)

http://www.mei.org.uk/files/papers/c405ju_icyhj5.pdf

Im trying to work through a C4 June 2005 Paper and I'm a little bit stuck on question 7. I've worked through part 3 but I have ended up with:
M= t/(1+t^2)^1/2 + e^c

However, the question asks for the numerator to equal Kt. Im quite sure that the e^c must somehow be converted to K but I'm a bit stuck on how?

Just state that e^c is a constant, i.e. K
