Physics exam question

I was going over past papers that have been marked and I stumbled on a physics p3 six marker which I really cannot understand why I got no marks. Usually I do very good in physics but I'll attach the picture if anyone can explain it to me. Ignore the markings in red those are apparently the correct answers but I don't see how they are much different to what I wrote.
