English Language AQA: What is the difference bettween a tho

Hi

I would like to know, as part of my English Language revision, what is the difference between a thought and feeling?:hmmmm: I always struggle on this question and end up getting about 4 or 5 marks. Also if you have any general advice then please let me know.

Thanks!

A thought is something you think about such as a memory which pop up or you think about the plans you may have for tomorrow.

A feeling is an emotion someone feels. Sad, Happy and excited are all emotions. For example yesterday you felt particularly excited because you received a gift.

I'm not sure how else to explain this.

Thoughts are ideas, feelings are emotions in response to the ideas.
