Student finance application mistake

Hello,
I am an EU student and i made an application for student finance online. I found out later that EU students can't apply online unless they have lived for 3 years in UK so I canceled my application. I intend to send a paper form. Do i have to phone them and tell them about this mistake or I can just send the paper form?

Just send the paper form - put in your customer reference number from your online application so they can tie the two together.
