'They're saying that they don’t want to rape me'

And yet the media and Jess Phillips (who the quote is from) are making it out like there have been rape threats towards her despite no evidence of any of this and when asked for evidence they delete comment sections.

Rape threats and rape are serious problems but lying about them helps nobody and takes the attention from real victims who need help.

It's also worth knowing that she plays down the effect of rape.

Edit - the original comment was a response to her saying people always say they want to rape her.

I know the internet attracts a lot of social degenerates, but in what context is it ever okay to say I wouldn't even rape you? It's nasty, abusive and carries a strong undertone of violence.

It was from an article where she claims that lots of people say that they rape her, the person who said it also said that he wouldn't rape any woman.

I'm not saying it wasn't a stupid thing to say but when people say they should be prosecuted for rape threats that is a problem and the media are saying they are rape threats that is the problem.
